For those patients with non-critical emergencies or urgent problems, our walk-in center offers board certified care with minimal wait time.

Unlike the ER, The Doctor is In sends you home with answers. We strive to make a definitive diagnosis and offer specific treatment for your problem. We find that with emergency room care, too often patients with non-critical problems (which account for the majority of ER visits) are told to follow-up with their doctors for definitive help.

Unlike the ER, continuity of care is important to us. If your condition requires follow-up, you may make an appointment with the same doctor who initially treated you.

Unlike the ER, we keep our fees low and offer free medicines when available so that uninsured patients, with limited resources, have access to the best quality medical care.

Unlike the ER, patient satisfaction is high. In fact, the greatest source of new primary care patients for The Doctor is In is from patients who walked in just once to our urgent care center.

At The Doctor is In, we practice a new kind of medicine.  It is based on simple common sense.  Our goal is to find and remove the cause of the problem, rather than cover up or temporarily alleviate symptoms with medication. 

We stress preventive care. We model our style after the “old-fashioned” family doctor who really gets to know his patients.  We do this with state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

Each patient is unique and is treated so, according to his or her condition.  We actually care about the people we care for.
